Background
Michelle is the Founder and Chairman of EmpowHer.com and is committed to helping women have access to the most current, unbiased health information they need to make the wisest choices for their health and the health of their families. She is also an active philanthropist and community volunteer whose work on various women's and children's causes as well as the arts has earned her numerous awards and citations.
My Story
I decided to create EmpowHer after having suffered through a debilitating health experience and feeling like I was all alone. In spite of resources and access to care, I cycled through several different doctors who prescribed multiple treatments and medications. After nearly a year, I found myself suffering in silence - confused, isolated and still sick. I finally became my own advocate and started on the road to wellness. Ultimately, it is my long-term goal to reach out to every single woman around the globe, stop their silent suffering and give all women a voice. It's one woman at a time. Women are going to change our health care and I want to help lead that change.

EmpowHer is an innovative women's health web site that contains unique online resources dedicated to helping women improve their health and well-being. It provides a devoted community of women, a multimedia library, an up-to-date health news section, health events calendar, as well as comprehensive medical experts and providers sections.  

Our community is a place where women can ASK health questions, SHARE health stories, and CONNECT with one another in a safe and supportive environment.
