We (Janine and Jo) set up Love Your Small Business in 2010 to meet the needs of an increasing number of women who have an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to forge their own path in small business. We are passionate about working with conscious business women who are inspired by the idea of ‘Profit with Purpose’. This approach to business aligns personal values and purpose with a clear strategy for business success.
Our programmes enable our clients to develop and fine tune their business strategy and engage with their business on a deeper level so they can grow their business and achieve success (whatever that looks like for them) while also living a balanced life.
We don’t claim to know more than our clients about their business – in fact that is what is different about our approach – we trust that our clients have the wisdom and experience to create their own solutions. Our role is to provide the resources, creative tools and processes they need to tap into their wisdom and intuition and make it happen.
Our business set up and development has been a fabulous journey with plenty of magnificent moments. The business initially developed out of a real challenge we came across: we wanted to develop a successful and profitable business but were not prepared to work 80 hours a week and sacrifice our health and relationships in order to do so. We came to understand that traditional models of business planning and strategy don't recognise that many women in business have a life outside of work, have or would like to have a family, and are not prepared to compromise on health and relationships just to have a successful and profitable business. Our solution? Create our own business planning process that would not only incorporate our vision for our personal lives, but that would also be fun, engaging and creative.
We now endeavour to share this process with women as they move through their own business journey!
