I'm Anne Pelagie Yotchou, a young Cameroonian of 30 years living in Cameroon, a young entrepreneur and coordinator CEFAP, an intergenerational network of women for leading social and economic change.
As the coordinator of LADIES CIRCLE, a national network of women and young women leading social and economic change, I’ve been coordinated many programs on women leadership and entrepreneurship. I’ve also participated to many programs; We are working so much in the field to empower other women and help them become the actress of their own development, the development of their communities, their organizations, enterprises,…
I ‘m a young woman, who has the ambition to create, to be part of the change in my community by improving myself with an authentic leadership and contribute to others young women grow in their business, profession and work. We help also rural women micro entrepreneurs to start small business and run it well. We always organize training with young women in other to empower them, and let them become a part of the empowerment of others young women with wisdom, care and clarity.
We do believe in this: “When women and girls struggle together, what was once unimaginable, suddenly becomes possible”I do also believe that women can lead the change around the world.
I like the opportunity given by your network and all its events because it can give me and sometimes my collaborators which are 75% young women, leaders of today and leaders of tomorrow, the opportunity to networking, to share our experience, meet leaders in other to learn from their success stories. It is also an occasion to networking.
We have many experience with our organization on how we deal daily, with sample means, to empower others and help small entrepreneurs to grow in their business and my own story as a young women leading social and economic change and development.
Our country Cameroun is bilingual, French and English. French is the main language (speak in 8 regions) and English (just in 2 regions). French is my first language, but as my country is bilingual, we do manage both languages. I’m also taking Spanish courses.
